Preseason football awards continue for for Wildcats

The preseason awards continue to roll in for University of Arizona football with just over two months until the start of the 2013 season. Head coach Rich Rodriguez leads the Wildcats in his second season at the helm of the program after an 8-5 finish in 2012.

Four Wildcats earned Athlon Sports Preseason All-Pac-12 nods. Junior running back Ka'Deem Carey was named first team, senior receiver-turned-cornerback Richard Morrison a second-team specialist at the punt return position and senior linebacker Jake Fischer and junior cornerback Jonathan McKnight named third-team defenders.

Additionally, Carey is a member of The Sporting News' 2013 Top-25 Players list, coming in at No. 20. Senior linebacker Marquis Flowers was named to the College Football Performance Awards 2013 Linebacker Watch List.
