Phoenix police say officers fatally shot a man who pointed a gun at them during a domestic disturbance call.
Authorities say 26-year-old Justin Tyler Riedisser became upset at an apartment during a disturbance late Saturday morning with his girlfriend, left the apartment and later was found hiding in a large concrete pipe that was served as a piece of playground equipment.
They say Riedisser came out of the pipe, but refused to drop a gun he was carrying and was then shot by three officers after he pointed his gun at them.
He later died at a hospital.
Police are investigating the fatal shooting.
