No. 4 ASU Softball hosts NCAA Tempe Regional starting Friday

Entering its ninth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance, fifth-seeded Arizona State softball hosts the Tempe Regional beginning Friday at Farrington Stadium. All games in the regional will be on TV, broadcasted by ESPNU with Beth Mowins and Jessica Mendoza on the call.

 Coverage throughout the Tempe Regional for Arizona State games will include: ESPNU on TV, online, Blaze Radio coverage online and on local radio, GameTracker live stats and updates via @ASUSoftball Twitter. Don't be stuck trying to find a way to follow the game, all of the outlets above are free!

Ranked fourth in both the NFCA and polls, Arizona State (45-10) is making its 25th trip to the NCAA Tournament and eighth appearance under head coach Clint Myers. Going head-to-head with San Jose State (42-15), ASU owns the series record between the two teams 11-1 dating back to 1987. The last time the two teams met, ASU won 4-0 in 2012 during the Kajikawa Classic.

Rio Salado will have restrictions Sunday, May 19, from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. PT for the Tempe International Triathlon. Rio between Rural and Mill will be restricted to one lane. Long term construction on the intersection of Rural and University may cause delays.
