Reward offered in Cottonwood firebombingPosted: Updated:
The Cottonwood Police Department is offering a $6,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the fire-bombing of three businesses.
Police Chief Jody Fanning said the investigation is being aided by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the FBI and the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
"We have a lot of leads but no suspects right now," the Verde Independent quoted Fanning as telling the city council Tuesday.
Devices police described as Molotov cocktails were found Monday at the three business: Spirit Gas Station, the city's finance and human resources offices and Sunwest Bank.
The finance and human resources offices have been relocated to the Cottonwood Public Safety building until the damaged offices can be restored.
People with any information about the arson cases are asked to contact the Cottonwood Police Department or Yavapai Silent Witness.
