IHOP tragedy: New details revealed in pancake house shootingPosted: Updated:
Nadia Williams died Saturday at a Cleveland Heights IHOP after being struck in the head by a bullet from security guard Gary Williams 9 mm handgun.
Gary Williams is also a Cleveland Municipal Court Bailiff of 16 years. He is certified to carry a gun.
Police say his gun went off during an altercation with Nadia and three other women after he fell.
In an exclusive interview, her father says Nadia was there after celebrating her engagement to 20 year old Rachella Womack who's now locked up.
"We were like water on top of water. That is how close we were. I know how she felt," said Jimmy Williams.
Nadia's younger sister Natosha was visibly shaken up at her arraignment. She saw Nadia get shot and so did Natosha's girlfriend Sharon Moore.
All three women are charged with involuntary manslaughter.
19 Action News reporter Scott Taylor just discovered the security video has been handed over to the Cleveland Heights Police Department.
Nadia's family says customers teased the women about their sexual preference and that's when an argument broke out.
Gary Williams escorted all four outside right in front of the security camera.
