Police in Dickson have located two men accused in a quick-change scam.
According to Det. Chad Fussell, the theft took place at a local Walmart on March17.
Police said the men, who were seen later on surveillance footage, allegedly teamed up to steal $650 in cash.
Quick-change scams typically involve a con artist who confuses a cashier by paying with a large denomination bill, and then changing his mind about how he wants the change returned to him.
Carl Phillip Johnson, 64, is charged with felony theft while Jeffrey Todd Starnes, 50, is charged with theft parties to a crime.
