Lawmakers to discuss making 'hot spot' ordinances illegalPosted: Updated:
State lawmakers are getting ready to weigh in on a proposal that would affect the ongoing battle between New Britain and the city's landlords.
Lawmakers will be talking about a plan to make 'hot spot' ordinances illegal.
New Britain officials have proposed that ordinance, which would impose a fine on properties that generate too many unnecessary 911 calls.
The issue will be brought up at a hearing at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford Thursday afternoon.
