LAS VEGAS (FOX5) - Las Vegas icon Wayne Newton's ranch, Casa de Shenandoah, is now for sale.
Realtor Nathan & Associates confirmed the 40-acre estate was placed on the market on Friday. A large "for sale" sign can be seen on the Sunset Road corner of the estate.
There is no list price for the property; instead, a bankruptcy auction will be held with bidding to begin on Wednesday, May 15. The actual auction will be held on Friday, May 31 at 9 a.m.
Wayne Newton is not involved in the sale. Newton did, however, provide the following statement to MORE on Friday afternoon:
"This is laughable. CSD, a company that my wife and I partly own, has allowed a for sale sign to be placed on the property. However, what that sign does not say is that, unless my family and I (and only my family and I) decide to move, we will continue to live in our three homes on the property for at least the rest of our lives and no potential sale will change that fact."
