So many people flocked to a popular Arizona festival on Monday that it created a 13-mile long traffic jam.
Motorists traveling to the 25th annual Arizona Renaissance Festival in Gold Canyon were caught in a massive tie-up on U.S. 60 at Signal Butte.
Traffic was backed up almost to Florence Junction.
The festival runs every weekend through March 31, but with the President's Day holiday, people took advantage of their time off to step back in time.
The Festival's 30-acre village is filled with 12 stages of entertainment, music, comedy and acrobatics. Visitors can mingle with a cast of nearly 2,000 costumed characters.
Live jousting tournaments are one of the festival's most popular attractions.
