TD Bank in Greenfield robbed on Sunday morning

GREENFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened just before 12 p.m. on Sunday. 

Sgt. Mark Williams of the Greenfield Police Department told CBS 3 that a man robbed the TD Bank on Main Street at gunpoint.

Williams said the suspect showed his gun to the teller and demanded money.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The teller was not hurt.

Williams said the suspect was wearing all black, including a ski mask.

They believe he got away in a gray or silver SUV.

    One local business is an eyesore for many of its neighbors.  The Dollar Tree store on Allen Street in Springfield has neighbors upset because of the constant trash around the building. The trash problem has gotten so bad that the city of Springfield is planning to file with the courts to enforce the city ordinances.
