Bridgeport man stabs his sleeping brother

The brother of a 26-year-old man was arrested early Tuesday morning after he allegedly stabbed him while he was sleeping at his Bridgeport home.

According to police, Pedro Poblano of Bridgeport was sleeping in his bed when his brother Moises Poblano, 31, stabbed him just before 3:30 a.m.

Police said that Moises Poblano never explained to them why he stabbed his brother.

Pedro Poblano was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. He is currently in stable condition, police said.

The knife used in the attack was recovered by police.
