A man is sitting in jail suspected of driving drunk and crashing into a Cleveland police patrol car injuring two officers.
Police say Johnny Millsaps failed a sobriety test at the scene, and we've learned a ticket shows he had a blood alcohol level of .24, three times the legal limit.
The crash happened Sunday evening at West Boulevard and Detroit. Investigators say Millsaps was driving an SUV, and he hit the patrol car from behind as it was parked along the road with officers inside.
We pulled the driving record for Millsaps. He had a valid license, but we also found convictions for drunk driving in 1999 and 2000, plus a conviction for driving with no license.
As of this report, Millsaps was still in jail but not formally charged yet.
