No injuries reported following South Windsor fire

South Windsor fire crews worked to extinguish a fire on Pleasant Valley Road Friday morning.

According to fire officials, the blaze was reported at 986 Pleasant Valley Rd. before 4 a.m., and when crews arrived at the scene, they were met with heavy smoke and flames.

Officials said they believe the fire began in an attached porch area, and then made its way inside the home.

Fire crews worked quickly and knocked the fire down in less than 30 minutes.

Everyone was able to make it out of the home safely and no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

The fire remains under investigation.
