Thousands of students are expected to compete for one of 10 $10,000 scholarships being awarded by the Go Daddy .ME Scholarship program.

Go Daddy, the world's leading web hosting and domain name provider, started the scholarship program in 2010 as a way to show support to those students who are aspiring to be an entrepreneur or technologist.  Go Daddy has awarded 20 students over the past couple of years with Go Daddy .ME Scholarships.

To apply for the Go Daddy .ME Scholarship applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in the fall of 2013, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and have scored higher than 1,000 on the SAT or 21+ on the ACT.

Applicants must submit a 500-word essay describing how the internet or technology has helped them and how they envision benefiting from it in the future. The essays will be judged on quality, creativity and originality.

The deadline for the Go Daddy .ME Scholarship is March 31, 2013. The winners are scheduled to announced at the end of April.
