Winter storm brings snow, rain to ArizonaPosted: Updated:
A second winter storm rolled into Arizona Saturday after the first system doused the state with widespread rain and snow. [Check the latest radar image]
The National Weather Service says Flagstaff received up to 7 inches of snow by Friday afternoon and could get another 3 inches to 6 inches.
In Forest Lakes northwest of Payson, 19 inches of snow is on the ground. The storm brought heavy rain the Phoenix area.

Tucson got more than an inch of rain and up to a foot of snow was expected on Mount Lemmon by the end of Friday.
The state's major roadways remained open during this storm, though authorities reported multiple slide-offs.
Clearing is expected Saturday night, with dry weather developing Sunday through next Tuesday.
Sunday's highs will be in the 50s. Temperatures Sunday night will range from 33 to 43 degrees.
As the wet low pressure system rapidly pushes east and into New Mexico Saturday night, one last impulse will quickly drop down from the northwest and move into the area, keeping a threat going for showers and high elevation snow.
Another Pacific storm will impact the region Tuesday night into Wednesday, leading
to another chance of desert rain and higher elevation snow.
