Female inmate accused of making false assault claims against corrections officerPosted: Updated:
An inmate from Coffee Creek Correctional Facility in Wilsonville is accused of initiating false claims against a CCCF corrections lieutenant and asking other inmates to lie to support those claims.
In June 2012, the Oregon Department of Corrections asked Oregon State Police to investigate the alleged physical assault of a female inmate, Jessica Little, by a male DOC lieutenant.
OSP said in a statement Friday that the investigation found evidence that Little's allegations were false, and that she tried to get other inmates to lie on her behalf.
Little was indicted by a Washington County grand jury after OSP concluded its investigation. She faces two counts of initiating a false report, and two counts of bribing a witness.
Little is serving a sentence at CCCF for identity theft and perjury, but is now in custody at the Washington County Jail after being arrested on the new charges.
An arraignment is scheduled for Dec. 10.
