Former Cardinals QB surprises family with new home furnishings
Former Arizona Cardinal Kurt Warner gave a Valley family in need something to be very thankful for this week.
On Tuesday, Warner and his wife, Brenda, surprised a single mom and her daughters by completely furnishing the inside of their newly purchased home with the annual First Things First "Homes for the Holidays" program.
Fernanda Luna said her family never expected anything like this. "I can't even explain how I feel. We never had a house of our own and then... they give us all these things, it's like the most amazing feeling I have ever felt."
First Things First has rewarded the hard work of 27 families since beginning the program in 2002. Eleven total families have been blessed in the greater Phoenix region.
