Garth Brooks to close Vegas show in NovemberPosted: Updated:
Country superstar Garth Brooks will drop the curtain on his Las Vegas Strip three-year residency show next month, the Wynn resort announced Wednesday.
The Wynn Las Vegas said the six remaining dates for his Las Vegas show through Nov. 17 will be his last with the property.
In a statement, the multi-platinum musician thanked resort chairman Steve Wynn for the three-year residency.
"Mr. Wynn told me that the Wynn audiences were some of the best in the world and he was right," said Brooks. "He is one of the smartest guys I have ever had the pleasure of talking to or listening to…[Wynn] is the easiest and best boss I have ever worked for."
The Wynn said Brooks plans to film a one-man show next summer that will possibly be used for a network special.
The remaining Garth Brooks dates are Oct. 5, 6, 26 and 27, and Nov. 16-17.
Concert times are 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
The resort said tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com and 1-877-65-GARTH (42784).
