A fire that ignited on Sunday in the Coronado National Forest about two-and-a-half miles southwest of the Town of Arivica has charred 30 acres.
No buildings have been burned or threatened. Firefighters have stopped the forward movement of the fire and are working to put it out, a Forest Service spokeswoman said.
About 100 firefighting personnel have been working to contain and extinguish the fire.
The spokeswoman said the fire was caused by humans.
