A lightning-caused wildfire near Safford has consumed more than 200 acres in the Coronado National Forest.
Heidi Schewel with the Coronado National Forest said the Cedar Fire started Sunday in the Safford Ranger District and has grown to an estimated 207 acres.
Schewel said as of Thursday morning, 90 percent of the fire was contained. Schewel said rough terrain made fighting the fire a challenge.
The fire was burning mostly grass and brush. There are about 20 structures in the area, but none are in imminent danger, Schewel said.
