PHOENIX (AP) -

Prosecutors say the father of an Arizona baby who disappeared after his mother fled to Texas will be available to testify against another woman charged with interfering with his custody rights.

A Maricopa County Attorney's spokesman told the Arizona Republic Thursday that Logan McQueary has agreed to surrender on a stolen goods trafficking charge and be available.

The mother of McQueary's 8-month-old son Gabriel fled with him after he gained custody in December 2009. Police say Elizabeth Johnson first said she smothered Gabriel and put him in the trash, then said she gave the baby to a couple in San Antonio, Texas. The baby's never been found.

A 40-year-old Scottsdale woman who wanted to adopt Gabriel goes on trial next week for her allege role in the case.
