Crews have wrapped up their first week of searching the Butterfield Landfill for little Jhessye Shockley.
So far, in five days of searching, they have not found any evidence of the 5-year-old girl, but the teams say they've refined the process, and it's going very smoothly.
Glendale police said today they were able to get through the most trash of any day so far.
"We are all convinced we will find her and we work together as teams one moment I might have somebody from the Phoenix Police Department with me and the next I have somebody from the FBI," shared Det. Beth Diaz with the Glendale Police Department.
Jhessye was reported missing in October and police say they believe her body was thrown in a dumpster and is not somewhere in the Butterfield Landfill.
