Missing San Tan Valley teen surfaces at friend's home
SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ (CBS5) -
Ashley Davis, the 17-year-old San Tan Valley girl missing since Jan. 11, has been found and is in good health.
Elias Johnson of the Pinal County Sheriff's Office said Davis went to the home of a friend in San Tan Valley about 10 p.m. Monday and asked for a place to stay. The mother of Davis' friend contacted deputies.
Davis was last seen walking from a park at 7 p.m. on Jan. 11 in the area of North Desert Honeysuckle Drive and East Denim Trail in San Tan Valley to her house on North Desert Honeysuckle Drive, but she never arrived home.
Davis had been scheduled to report to military processing for enlistment when she went missing.
Davis was being interviewed by detectives Tuesday morning, Johnson said.
No more information was immediately available.
