Congresswoman Giffords returning to Tucson for vigil
TUCSON, AZ (CBS5) -
Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords plans to return to Tucson this weekend.
This Sunday marks one year since the shooting massacre that severely injured Giffords and killed six people.
Giffords plans to attend a vigil on the University of Arizona campus on Sunday night to commemorate the anniversary.
Giffords has been undergoing treatments in Houston for the past year. This weekend's trip will be the fourth time the congresswoman has returned to Tucson since the shooting. She previously flew back for Father's Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving.
