A Power of Faith service was held Sunday afternoon at the corner of 45th and Glendale for Jhessye Shockley.

That's the site of a memorial for the missing 5-year-old Arizona girl.

The group behind Sunday's service, United Power of Faith, said it's important for the community to keep the faith that she's still alive.

"We still haven't found that little girl, so we can't stop," said Bishop Chris. "I don't know what the truth is. All I know is that I don't see Jhessye. And until she comes home, we're all going to keep looking for here, to keep searching for her."

Jerice Hunter, Shockley's mother, is facing child abuse charges and being held on $100,000 bond.

Glendale police said that Hunter was arrested on child abuse charges "directly related to her daughter, Jhessye."

Police are still searching for the girl, but they are doubtful she'll ever reunite with her family.

Jhessye was last seen Oct. 11.
