NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Metro police arrested a 26-year-old man accused of child rape and aggravated robbery involving an 11-year-old girl and her parents in Antioch.
Authorities said South Precinct detectives and SWAT officers arrested Olbin Sabier Euceda in the parking lot on Nolensville Pike at 6 p.m. Tuesday as he was preparing to flee the state.
Euceda was sitting in a vehicle with three male juveniles and was taken into custody without incident. The three juveniles have been detained and are being questioned.
Police give credit to members of the Nashville Hispanic community for assisting in leading officials to Euceda.
Authorities said Euceda is accused of committing two home invasion robberies.
One incident occurred at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday at the 727 Bell Road apartment (Overlook complex).
Police said the 11-year-old's mother had just returned home from a store and was returning to her car after carrying in several grocery bags when she was approached by a stranger who police later identified as Olbin Euceda.
Authorities said Euceda pulled a pistol and ordered the mother back into the apartment where he and an accomplice robbed the family of electronics and other items.
Detectives were told that Euceda forced the 11-year-old girl into a bedroom where she was sexually assaulted.
Police said Euceda is also accused of being one of the two men who committed a home invasion robbery Saturday evening at Maple Creek apartments on Glenrose Avenue.
In that case, authorities said the suspects forced their way into an apartment at gunpoint and forced the family to surrender their cash and gold jewelry.
Euceda is also suspected in a home invasion that happened last Thursday night at the Hickory Trace apartment complex. Officials said two women were sexually assaulted.
In addition to Euceda's Nashville charges, he is also under indictment on multiple 1st degree robbery counts in Shelby County, Alabama.
