Weather conditions cause Loop 101 construction to be postponed
PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Wet weather forecasted for tonight and tomorrow has caused the planned Loop 101 construction closure in the West Valley to be postponed.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says they'll reschedule the planned closure for the northbound Loop 101 between Camelback Road and Glendale Avenue.
The closure was planned for 10 p.m. Friday until 2 p.m. Saturday for lane striping, according to ADOT.
Meanwhile, westbound Loop 101 will be closed between State Route 51 and 35th Avenue from 4 a.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday for HOV lane project work.
Eastbound Interstate 10 also is scheduled to be closed between the I-17 'Stack' interchange and Seventh Street from 9 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday for maintenance work inside the Deck Park tunnel.
