Phoenix police have arrested two 17-year-old boys in connection with the shooting death of a man at  a Phoenix park on Tuesday.

Sgt. Tommy Thompson said police arrested Brandon Roberts and Nadeem Alferikh late Wednesday. Thompson said officers developed probable cause to charge them with the murder of 78-year-old Milton Raffle.

Passers-by found Raffle unconscious Tuesday night about three hours after he began his nightly walk in the park, police said Wednesday. The passers-by saw his body lying by a wall and ran to a nearby fire station for help.

Raffle was rushed to a local hospital, but later died from his injuries.

Raffle routinely exercised every night at Cave Creek Park, 2409 W. Cactus, Thompson said.

Raffle was described by his children as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
