Burned acreage up slightly on Wallow Fire

Posted: Updated:

There's been some growth on the Wallow wildfire burning in eastern Arizona and a tiny slice of western New Mexico.

The U.S. Forest Service says the fire is up to 537,220 acres but now is 70 percent contained.

Crews continue to work on strengthening and completing containment lines.

The fire has destroyed 32 homes and is the largest in Arizona history.

It's believed to be human-caused and authorities continue their investigation as to how it started on May 29.
