Coyotes open season at home against Columbus

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- The Phoenix Coyotes will open their 2008-2009 season at home with an October 11th game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Coyotes' schedule for next season, which was released today, includes 41 home games and 41 games on the road.
Their regular-season finale -- April 11th -- will be a home game against Anaheim.
The Coyotes also will play eight preseason games, with three of those at Jobing.com Arena.
