COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) -- Arizona State's run to the sweet 16 ends in a bitter defeat.

Duke's Chante Black scored a career-high 26 points and had 13 rebounds as the third-seeded Blue Devils defeated the Sun Devils 67-59 Tuesday night.

Black was 9-for-20 from the field and 8-for-10 at the line. She also had three blocks, two assists and two steals.

Briann January scored 17 points and Lauren Lacey 13 for Arizona State. ASU went 0-10 against ranked opponents this season. The Sun Devils were attempting to reach the round of 16 for the third time in four years.
