Suns outlast Trailblazers

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Amare Stoudemire scored 25 points and Shaquille O'Neal had a double-double as the Phoenix Suns knocked off the Trail Blazers 111-98 in Portland.
O'Neal finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds to help the Suns earn their fifth straight win and pull within a game of the Western Conference lead. Steve Nash added 22 points and eight assists for Phoenix, which has its longest winning streak since early December.
LaMarcus Aldridge topped 20 points for the sixth straight game, finishing with 31 and eight rebounds. But Brandon Roy scored just six points on 3-of-14 shooting.
Roy also had seven rebounds and seven assists.
