Memorial service for sportscaster Tom Dillon set for Friday

PHOENIX -- A memorial service for longtime sports broadcaster Tom Dillon is planned for Friday.
The service will be held Friday morning at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Phoenix.
In lieu of flowers, the Dillon family is asking that donations be made to the Tom Dillon ASU Scholarship Fund:

PHOENIX -- Longtime Valley sportscaster Tom Dillon died early Tuesday morning.
3TV's Brad Cesmat confirms Dillon died of a heart attack early Tuesday morning after collapsing Monday evening at his home.
Dillon started calling games for Arizona State University in 1979. After 20 years as the voice of the Sun Devils, he spent another five years calling the plays on Fox Sports Net Arizona.
The KTAR sportscaster also did play-by-play for the Arizona Cardinals for 12 years, ending in 2001.
The National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association named Dillon Arizona Sportscaster of the Year 17 times.
Dillon, who was 65, is survived by his wife, Bonnie, and two daughters.. Dillon had spent the past several years working with her a realtor.
In 2005 he joined Sports USA Radio Network and was scheduled to announce the Territorial Cup football game Saturday in Tucson between ASU and Arizona.
