KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Two former Phoenix Suns are in the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame.

During a ceremony in Kansas City last night, Kansas star Danny Manning and former Auburn center Charles Barkley entered the college hall.

Barkley called it a "a really cool honor."

One of the NBA's greatest players, Barkley's presence didn't diminish after his playing days thanks to his success as a commentator and pitchman.

Manning has been credited with single-handedly leading Kansas to the 1988 national championship. He played one of the greatest games in NCAA tournament history with 31 points, 18 rebounds, five steals and two blocked shots in the title game.

Manning played for the Suns between 1994-1999. Barkley was a Sun from 1992 to 1996.
