EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Phoenix Suns compiled an NBA-best 24-6 record against the East last season, and they'll look to keep up their interconference dominance tonight when they begin a four-game Eastern road trip against the New Jersey Nets.
Phoenix has started this season on even more of a tear.
The Suns are shooting 53 percent, and they're coming off their best performance yet.
Phoenix made 55 percent of its shots on Saturday night against Portland, rallying from a halftime deficit to win 107-96.
Meanwhile, Suns guard Alando Tucker is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee today.
Tucker is expected to be out two to four weeks.
An MRI exam on Tucker's knee showed no serious damage and the scope should only be a clean-up procedure.
Tucker's issue began with a calf strain during training camp in Tucson.
That led to a hamstring issue and fluid build-up in his knee.
