Glendale's Chad Boat named "Rookie of the year" in midgets Sprint Cars

PHOENIX (AP) -- Arizona's Chad Boat has been named 2008 USAC National "Rookie of the Year" and will be honored as such at USAC's "Night of Champions" year-end celebration in Indianapolis.

Boat swept "rookie" honors in both the 2008 USAC National Midget and Sprint Car series.
