PHOENIX (AP) -- Mike Dunn capped a perfect weekend as he led all 20 laps in the Dwarf Car Nationals Saturday night at Manzanita Speedway.
Dunn also led the entire distance in Friday nights feature. He won his heat Friday night and won the Dash for position Saturday night.
The win in the dash put Dunn on the pole and even though he was challenged midway through the race by Brian Stehr he never faulted and Stehr had to settle for second.
Dunn's father, Butch, finished third after starting 13th. Clifford Lee took fourth ahead of Kevin Cain.
The Wayne Keizer Mini Sprint Nationals 30 lap feature race went to Kurt Stults who was by far the quickest car on the track. He was continuously turning laps in the low to mid 14 second bracket.
The Nationals marked the end of the 2008 racing series at Manzanita.
