Trying to figure out why Red Mountain High School is so good this season?

Look no further than Sr. QB Mason Thorman and his favorite target Sr. WR Drake Pierre.

Pierre had 94 yards receiving, and 3 TDs, in Friday's win over Mesa 35-14. That gives him an impressive total of 550 yards so far this season. He is averaging about 138 yards a game. He has found the end zone 9 times.

Of course it helps to have a QB like Thorman. In the game against Mesa, he was 13 of 18 for 192 yards and 4 TDs, only one INT.

It was a balanced attack on the night for the Mountain Lions. RB Adrian Limbs averaged almost 7.5 yards a carry. He had 142 yards and a TD.

Next week the undefeated Mountain Lions will face Gilbert, who will be coming off their first win of the season.

Mesa has Dobson next.

Tune into 3TV every Friday night @ 10:30pm for the best High School Highlights all school year long.
