CHANDLER, Ariz. -- The Hamilton Huskies had to wait nearly a full year before they could give some payback to the Desert Vista Thunder who upset them in last year's Division 1 championship football game.
On Friday night, after a scoreless first quarter, Hamilton struck first with a short TD run by Kevin Walters.
The Huskies never gave up the lead as they improved to 5-2 with a 23-13 win over the now 5-2 Desert Vista Thunder.
