CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Football fans in Chandler were treated to a Friday night gridiron thriller between cross-town rivals the Hamilton Huskies and the Basha Bears.
The game would see eight lead changes with the final score coming when the Huskies' Tyrell Smith scored on a short touchdown run with seconds left in the game to give Hamilton a 31-24 win over Basha.
After an 0-2 start, Hamilton has won seven straight games. Going into the game Maxpreps had Hamilton ranked number three in the state, with Basha (6-3) ranked 13th.
