Jaguars Coach Jeremy Hathcock has one of the best teams in the state of Arizona. Going into Friday night's game against Hamilton, Desert Ridge was undefeated.

But all the talent in the world wasn't going to stop a Hamilton squad desperate to prove they still have what it takes to dominate D1 ball in Ariz.

After losing the state championship game last year to Desert Vista, and ending the Nation's longest winning streak, Hamilton has been struggling. They started the season off with 3 straight losses.

But with a win over Desert Ridge, they can move back to a .500 record at 3-3 and start their climb back to prominence.

Desert Ridge kept it interesting in the first half. Down just 14-7 going into the locker room. However the 3rd quarter belonged to the Huskies. Hamilton scored 20 points in the 3rd quarter to take the game 34-14.

Hamilton will head to Mesquite Friday, a team still looking for their first win of the season.

Desert Ridge will have a much tougher match up against 3-1 Skyline.
