Who has better dance moves?

PHOENIX -- Although the countdown to Super Bowl XLIX is already underway, the official countdown clock at Sky Harbor International Airport will be unveiled Wednesday.

Jay Parry, the president and CEO of the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee, brought Spike, the committee's mascot, to 3TV's studio Tuesday morning.

"I cannot believe it's only six months until Super Bowl 49 kicks off," Parry said. "It's going to be here soon!"

With just months to go, the committee is rounding up thousands of volunteers to make it a spectacular event.

"We've got about 10,000 volunteer opportunities in total," Parry told 3TV's Javier Soto.

More than 5,700 people already have signed up online.

"We need just another 4,000!" Parry said. "That's it!"

"We have something for everything," she continued. "We're going to have a lot of hospitality volunteers. They'll meet people at the airport, at the hotels, at major transportation hubs. They'll answer questions and direct them."

The committee also is looking for social media volunteers and business-oriented volunteers, as well as bilingual volunteers.

For more information, check out AZSuperBowl.com. The deadline to sign up is December.
