After blackout deadline extension, Cardinals game sold-out

UPDATE: The Cardinals game on Sunday against the Houston Texans is sold out.

GLENDALE - The following is a press release from the Arizona Cardinals:

The Arizona Cardinals today announced that the team has received a 24-hour extension to the television blackout deadline from the National Football League. 

In order to air live on local television, league rules require games to be sold out 72 hours prior to kickoff.

The deadline for this Sunday's game vs. the Texans has now been extended until 1:15 PM on Friday. 

As of this afternoon, the team had just under 1,000 tickets remaining. 

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster by phone at (800) 745-3000 or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.

Fans can also purchase tickets in person at the Cardinals Tempe Training Facility box office (open 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and at the University of Phoenix Stadium box office (open 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM). The stadium box office will also be open on game day beginning at 10:00 AM.
