TEMPE, Ariz. -- With the Rose Bowl on the line, there are still tickets available for Saturday's Pac-12 Championship game that pits Arizona State University against Stanford.
Saturday's game will be a rematch. When ASU and Stanford faced off in September, the Cardinal won handily -- 28-42.
"We've been a team that's gotten better every rep of every practice, ever day -- all year long," Coach Todd Graham told 3TV's Ryan O'Donnell Monday morning. "Our guys just have been resilient. They've gotten better every week. They're very mature. And they know there is no Rose Bowl without winning this Saturday. So, I don't have a problem with them looking ahead."
The Sun Devils have been to the Rose Bowl twice, first in 1987 (a win over Michigan) and most recently in 1997 (a loss to Ohio State). Since 1940, The Devils have made 26 bowl appearances. Their record is 13-12-1.
Going into Saturday's game, the Sun Devils are ranked No. 11 to the Cardinal's No. 7.
ASU's win Saturday over the Arizona Wildcats means the Sun Devils will host the championship game. Kick-off at Sun Devil Stadium is 5 p.m.
