SEATTLE (AP) — Steve Sarkisian was like everyone else envisioning that Washington was headed for its second overtime game in three weeks on Saturday night.

Then came a blown coverage that allowed Arizona State's Danny Sullivan to find Chris McGaha for a 50-yard touchdown with 5 seconds left to give the Sun Devils a 24-17 win and drop the Huskies to 3-4 on the season.

The final play was dissected and analyzed on Monday. But Sarkisian was also quick to admit his mistake in calling for a pass on third-and-1 at the UW 19 with 28 seconds left that fell incomplete and gave Arizona State a chance for the stunning conclusion.
