PHOENIX (AP) -- The Phoenix Suns will begin the lockout-shortened 2011-12 NBA season at home Dec. 26 against the New Orleans Hornets.

The league released the team's full 66-game schedule Tuesday. It will run until April 25 and features 33 home and road games, 48 conference matchups and 18 inter-conference games.

The Suns have six games apiece against the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs.

After opening the franchise's 44th season against the Hornets, Phoenix hosts the Philadelphia 76ers on Dec. 28.

The Suns play seven of their first nine games against 2011 playoff teams and 16 of their first 21 overall.

Phoenix will appear on national television a total of 16 times. That includes nine games on ESPN or ESPN2, two games on TNT and five on NBA TV.
