Poll:
Vote for the Varsity Zone Play of the Year - Voting Ends May 16th

It was hard to narrow down the list of nominees for Play of the Year, and even more difficult to pick a winner. So, we are leaving that part up to you. Here are our 3 nominees for The Ashley Furniture HomeStore Varsity Zone Play of the Year:

The first nomination goes out to Marcos de Niza High School where quarterback Josh Eckley is forced out of the pocket. He gets away from the defense and throws up a jump ball to UofA commit, Paul Elvira, who is able to make the spinning grab in mid-air and take it all the way in for the touchdown.

The second nominee is courtesy of Airen Randolph of Westview High School. Randolph explodes through the lane and throws down, without question, the biggest dunk of The Varsity Zone season.

And, the final nominee is a 2-team effort. Paradise Valley's Paul Watson, who is going to play basketball for Fresno State next year, comes out of no where for one of the best blocks of the year. Then, on the other end, Future Boise State QB Ryan Finley thinks he has an easy lay up. But, 6'7" Tyler Lehew of Shadow Mountain is there for the block. Lehew is not done! He finishes with a dunk and sends the student section into a freenzy.

We will announce the winner this Friday, May 17th @ 10:30pm on 3TV
