TEMPE, Ariz. -- The road to a repeat begins this September.

Arizona State, coming off their first ever ACHA national championship, will open up their 2014-2015 season on Sept. 19 when they host Niagra for a two-game series. A week later, West Chester comes to Tempe for a two-game set.

The Sun Devils will then take their first road trip of the year, playing Williston State on Oct. 2 and Minot State on Oct. 3 and 4.

The first of eight games against top rival Arizona happens in Tempe on Oct. 10 and 11, with the other home series against the Wildcats on Jan. 30 and 31. ASU travels to Tucson for games on Dec. 5 and 6 and will close out the regular season schedule on Feb. 20 and 21.

ASU plays Stony Brook three times during the regular season, representing a rematch of their Final Four game during last season's ACHA tournament. The Sun Devils will travel to New York for games on Nov. 8 and 9, while the Seawolves come to Tempe on Jan. 22. A day prior to these games, ASU will be in New Jersey to take on Rutgers.

Overall, ASU will play 22 games at home in Tempe at Oceanside Ice Arena, and hit the road for 18 games. Sixteen of the games will be WCHL games against division rivals Arizona, Oklahoma, Central Oklahoma, Colorado, and Colorado State.

It won't be an easy road for the Sun Devils, as 26 of their 40 games come against nine teams that made the ACHA national tournament a year ago: Arizona (8), Minot State (4), Oklahoma (3), Central Oklahoma (3), Stony Brook (3), Lindenwood (2) Syracuse (2), Illinois (2), and Liberty (1)

Like last year, ASU will return from the semester break to play an exhibition game against a team of Phoenix Coyotes' alumni, with all proceeds donated to charity. This game will take place on Jan. 2 at Oceanside Ice Arena.
