TEMPE, Ariz. -- The countdown is now officially on. Mark your calendars.
Arizona State fell just 60 minutes shy of the Rose Bowl in 2013, and with several key returning players and a coaching staff now in their third year in Tempe, the Sun Devils look to make another run.
ASU will open up on Thursday, August 28th against Weber State before traveling to New Mexico on September 6th. The Sun Devils will open conference play the next week with a road trip to Colorado, before enjoying their first bye of the year.
Coming off that bye will be a huge Thursday night showdown against UCLA, followed by a road trip to USC. That stretch could determine the eventual Pac-12 South champion. The Devils host the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on November 8th.
The Utah Utes trip on November 1st will mark ASU's homecoming game, and a rematch with Stanford comes on October 18th. The season concludes with the Territorial Cup game against Arizona on November 28th.
With the Pac-12's intradivisional schedule rotation, ASU will once again not play Oregon or Cal in 2014. Both will return on the schedule for 2015 and 2016, with Oregon State and Stanford being rotated off during that stretch.
