This school year 3TV teamed up with Sylvan Learning to present eight Arizona teachers the Silver Apple Award. 2nd Annual CapWater Drive with The Salvation Army
3TV and The Salvation Army would like to thank our viewers for making the 2nd Annual CapWater drive a success. The outpouring of community support was truly amazing. In one day our viewers donated more than 137,591 bottles of water, $14,795 and more than 2,886 hats. All of these donations will go directly to The Salvation Army’s Extreme Heat/Hydration Project this summer.
During the summer months when the National Weather Service declares an Extreme Heat Warning response teams respond through an Extreme Heat Emergency Plan that includes hydrating, educating and providing referral assistance to people in or potentially in distress. These donations help support this effort.
People can donate througout the summer months by dropping off donations of bottled water, hats or money to 4 designated drop-off locations. >>Click here for locations.

SHADE Foundation of America has been selected as an official charity for the 2009 PF Chang's Rock N Roll Marathon in Phoenix.
